with the Battenburg Lace

some of which is cut through the wool for Ladder/Windowpane effect
The Tape facing is notable
Featuring
a Charming Floral & Vine Scalloped design/pattern
The Details are Gorgeous & Intact
However
This coat is in fragile condition due to the weak thread condition.
I do not recommend wearing it, unless it is
professionally
restored
It is a great piece for restoration, display, art , historic value &/or patternmaking
As you can see in the photos,
the lining has shredded out
some faint pieces left
Some facing is intact but badly deteriorating
It is missing one of the crochet buttons on the front, There should be 4.
I wish I could post more photos as they only allow 12 here
Please message me
if you are truly interested & would like to see more.
This is a wonderful period piece for its design, detail & color!!!

~~~
It measures quite large
even for the time period
perhaps it was made to
accomodate a bustled or large crinoline
