Vintage 1930’s Dickie, Black Organza & Sequins (2237)

Description

A formal style dickie worn by my grandmother in the 1920’s-‘30’s.
The back of the dickie is black net, the front is black organza.
The organza is folded over in a lapel style which is designed in a deep “V”, all edged with black sequins which continues down the length of the front.
The back measures 16” from the shoulder seam and is 8” wide with ribbon ties at the bottom.
The front measures 18” x 10” in width.
The depth of the “V” is 10”, measuring from the back of the neck.
The lapels are banded with black sequins which continues down the front, approximately 1 ¼” in width.
Ribbon ties are placed at 15”.
The condition is excellent, likely worn infrequently.
