I have purchased and will be selling an estate of antique and vintage women's clothing.  This is not my wheelhouse but I have done research and asked questions.  I will describe to the best of my ability.  However, please see the multiple photographs I have provided to you as they are a component of my description.
Both the bodice and the A-Line skirt are constructed of a rolled Dupioni silk with a lovely sheen.  The wide cuffs at the end of long sleeves are needlepoint lace. At the shoulder the sleeves have a slight puff.  Also of needlepoint lace is the high-neck cape style "collar".  The lining of the bodice is cotton and formed with boning, see photo.  The front bodice dips in a large V to the waist.  In between the V is a chiffon Jabot.  The bodice nips in at the waist and then flares out in a ruffle.  The ruffle dips to a point at the very back that is split in the center.  At the two points of the V there are long decorative narrow drapes of fabric that end in bows.
The paneled skirt fastens in the back and is pleated with a bustle in mind.  On the bodice are two straps to secure the bustle.   It extends out in a train at the rear hem.
The suit is in extremely fine condition.  There are a few stains (I have not tried to clean or remove)  There is no odor.  I do note some small breaks in the fabric and the chiffon is fragile.  The train shows a bit of dirt wear it would have skimmed the ground.  There are SO many hooks and eyes (no wonder they needed a lady's maid!) and some of them are missing or show discoloration.  For the most part any age-related wear is to the underside fabrics.  With care I feel it is in wearable condition.

Shoulder seam to shoulder seam across the back - 11 1/2"
Shoulder seam to waist seam - 16"
Sleeves - 21 1/2"
Arm pit to arm pit across the back - 20"
Breast - 33 1/2" across my mannequin
Bodice waist - 30"
Skirt waist allowing for bustle - 40"
Skirt length in front - 38"
Skirt length with train - 50"
