This upgrade harness for your two-pickup, one-knob Cabronita gives you the ability to control tone as well as volume without altering the face of your guitar in any way. Stacked concentric 500/500K potentiometer puts both controls right at your fingertips.
Concentric knobs are included as well. Simply solder your pickups to the toggle switch and ground them to the back of the pot and you are done!
Please note that this harness employs a stacked pot with standard, not long, shaft. It will be necessary to shave a small amount of wood from inside the control cavity in order to expose enough threads to grab into. A wide drill bit works well. I have been searching for long shaft stacked pots, but I don't think they exist!
NOS Russian Military PIO tone capacitor (.022mF) and high-pass filter consisting of a Sprague Orange Drop capacitor in parallel with an Allen-Bradley resistor provide superior tone control, and retain your high tones even when the volume is rolled off. No more muddiness in your tone! Top-quality components really DO matter.
This harness is hand-wired with Gavitt cloth covered push-back wire and Thackery silver solder for crisp, clear connections throughout.
