About the plates
These are standard chrome-plated neck plates designed to the Fender standard, the plates are 2" x 2.5" with holes on center at 1.5" and 2", respectively.
About the engraving
Using the newest Laser Engraving technology, the plate is etched a fraction of an inch, which turns the metal a dark brown. Laser marking is permanent and easily visible.
What designs work best?
Text and graphics work best.  Photographs will also work, but for best results, photos should not be too dark and should have good contrast.  Images are converted to black and white before engraving. Shades of gray are engraved using a subtle pattern of tiny dots.
For best results with photographs, choose our Photo Plates from our ebay store.
What doesn't work well?
These design components should be avoided: Very thin lines.  Very small lettering.  Subtle shading or highlighting.
