This listing is for a retired American Girl Pleasant Company 18" Elizabeth doll.  Elizabeth Cole was introduced to the American Girl family in September, 2005, as Felicity Merriman's best friend, and was then retired in March, 2011.
Elizabeth has been played with, but her vinyl is flawless with no scrapes or chews.  Elizabeth's cloth body is firm and clean with only one small black mark on her chest (you can just see it in picture #5).  Her limbs are tight.  She sits, stands, and poses nicely.
Her strings are long, and she has Pleasant Company stamped on the back of her neck.  She has a body tag which gives a date of 2008.  I have been told, however, that that might not be her actual manufacture date, but it was around then.
Elizabeth has bright sleep blue eyes that open and shut as they should, and her long blonde hair is soft, clean and thick. It is a pleasure to brush and style.  I have styled it with small braids on each side pulled into the back so you can see that she still has some tendril left on the sides of her face.  Elizabeth's ears are pierced, and she has silver star-shaped earrings.
Elizabeth will arrive wearing her authentic American Girl coral pink taffeta "Meet" gown.  It is tagged American Girl and is in good condition except for an ironing scorch mark on the lower back hem (please see picture #4).  I longer have her shoes and stockings or her under-shift.  Elizabeth is also wearing a "pearl" necklace, but it is not made by American Girl.
I will also include a set of 4 Felicity/Elizabeth trading cards dated 2005 in a little paper pocket-sleeve, Elizabeth's fan, and a hard-covered copy of her book "Very Funny, Elizabeth".  This was the only book written for Elizabeth and is in excellent condition.
