    Description

    Beautiful 15" bisque doll with RARE composition WALKING BODY.  Simon and Halbig produced this doll for Kammer and Reinhardt around 1910.  Excellent walking mechanism and body.  Head turns when legs are walked.  Comes in original clothing and her human hair wig is dark brunette to black, not glued on.  She has set eyes and long eyelashes, an open mouth with teeth.  Her eyes are a blue gray color blown glass German original eyes.
    She has a very superficial "hairline" on her forehead.  I took a close up of her face and you can see a faint line starting at the top of her head coming down through her eyebrow and across her nose.  I also photographed the inside of her head the best I could and do not see any cracks.  Looks like it has been repaired and stabilized years ago, but I cannot be sure as I do not repair dolls.
