Rare Antique Kley & Hahn K & H 167-13 Character German Bisque Doll Approx. 23"

Description

Germany, Ca. 1910. Bisque socket head incised "K & H" in banner 167-13, sleeping eyes, fly-away eyebrows, painted lashes, open mouth with upper teeth and tongue. Composition baby body (some wear on hands). Antique white baby gown, antique of vintage undergown and undershirt, newer shoes and stockings. Condition (Very Good). Size 23" T.
Her Bisque head is in perfect shape, no cracks no hairlines.
Her beautiful blue eyes are sleepy eyes and work as they should.

his doll has a "sweet" yet "Expressive" face with open, sleepy blue glass eyes,  painted lower and upper black lashes, raised and molded brush stroked brown brows, beautiful coloring on her face with open mouth, upper teeth.
All Ball joints are loose, as the doll will need to be restrung.
There is a small amount of glue residue from the wig on the head or scalp area that needs to be removed.
Please see pictures for condition of the doll including her: Eyes, Hands, feet, neckline, etc. The hands show most of the wear. There are two short small cracks on the composition of her upper left leg. Th composition appears to have the original paint with the doll being in really good condition. There is an inscription on the dolls back which reads Betty "from" Aunt Erma Joan. The writing is not very legible, but it is an inscription to Betty from her Aunt.
What appears to be her original baby gown is very well made and does have some age discoloration.
She comes with her old wig and a new blonde wig. Her under-gown appears to be original or certainly vintage. The shoes I suspect they are newer.
