About the plates
Plates are custom made from aircraft grade aluminum and anodized black for quality laser engraving.  They weigh about half as much as steel plates
, but is just as strong as steel.
Designed to the Fender standard, the plates are about 2mm thick and measure 2" x 2.5" with holes on center at 1.5" and 2", respectively.
How to design your plate
After paying, email us your
BEST QUALITY
digital image and
DO NOT CROP
.  Originals are best.  Describe how you'd like the image laid out, as well as any text to engrave.  Images will appear like black & white photographs when engraved.
Let us know if you want to receive an email "proof" or just proceed as soon as possible.
NOTE:
Poor quality images (blurry, too dark, too light, low resolution) will not engrave well.  You may ask our opinion about an image
before
purchasing, by emailing
us (see last auction photo for address)
About the engraving
High resolution engraving is performed with a laser.
Under normal conditions, the engraving should last for many years.  The plate can withstand temperature extremes and can get wet.  Only physical abrasion will affect the quality of the engraving.
Gasket & Screws
You will receive a plastic mounting gasket and 4 black screws.  You can decide whether or not you want to use them, based on your own preferences.
