    Description

    Sword - 30" blade. One side of clam shell moves other side has an eagle on it.  Wood handle is missing what appears to have been fish skin covering.  Blade has been cleaned and has some pitting mid blade.  Blade is marked US and has a shield on that same side.  Opposite side appears to have an eagle with a shield and some writing which is not legible.  No branding identified. No scabbard.  Estate find no other information available.
