Large Early German Doll, 32", Armand Marseille, ball jointed composition body

Description

Large beautiful 32" ANTIQUE GERMAN DOLL, Armand Marseille.
This is an early doll, with full puffy cheeks and well defined knees.
Not all Armand Marseille are created equally.  This is an outstanding example.
She wears a wine red velvet & lace dress, with an antique crochet bonnet with
ribbons and gold balls. She has a full slip, pantaloons, and a double tie under top,
silk stockings and shoes.  Marked in red on back of body "made in Germany."
She has an open mouth with porcelain teeth, sleep brown eyes, raised eyebrows, a blond wig and pate. She is missing one of her thumbs.
Her hands have been repainted, body shows age related wear
and body is sold "as is". (please see photographs are part of the description.)
Her bisque head shows no chips, cracks, hairlines or restoration.
