Remember this is a genuine Fender replacement part.... the real deal, with any number or letters or combination thereof you would like stamped in the original type font used in the pre CBS years. Ya  can't get much better than that.

Take a good look at the photos, this is a genuine Fender replacement part stamped with a custom number. It can be any number you like up to 9 characters, numbers or letters. However note nine digits will be a tight fit between the screw holes.
While there are others offering numbered plates, suggesting their plates are more accurate, using Diamond engraving or Laser engravers, I submit, Leo had neither from the 50's through the 80's. He used the same mechanical stamping process I use. There IS a difference.
After years of searching, I have found the same type machine Fender originally used, so if accuracy is a concern, this is as close as it gets. For other neck plates with custom stamping, see my other auctions. You may want your name, birthday, graduation, any date or number, like the winning lottery numbers. You get to choose, and relicing is available too. Letters are available in CAPS only.
