When was the LightBrush 300 created by Creative Light Works, limitations of photographic lighting were crumbled. The kit sold here is a modified LightBrush 300 kit. The system was brilliant, although it had a few flaws that have now been eliminated. Well, originally a 300W Gemini 300 EZG (Arc Projection Lamp) bulb was used. This bulb was used in Kodak film projectors as well as in medical devices. Its disadvantage was its lifetime - about 30 hours. Another disadvantage was the light transmission system to the holder via a 2.5-meter-long optical fiber, so there was a fairly large decrease in light power. And the most important disadvantage was that when this system was created, due to the lighting techniques, it had to be powered from the mains, so it was not possible to work with it outdoors, only work in the studio was left.
The kit was rebuilt by a medical device service dealing with endoscopic lighting techniques. Thanks to new lighting techniques, it was possible to replace the power supply system with an accumulator one, and a very powerful LED diode replaced the discharge bulb with all its electronics. The power of light and its color temperature are the same as in the original lighting system. What used to be in a large box along with the fiber optic power supply is now all in the Lightbrush handle.

By using cut gel colored filters, we obtain a full range of colored light.
HANDLE Photo 2 and 3
The brain of LightBrush is currently a handle which is powered by 3 AAA batteries and the latest generation ZRX LED. The batteries can be charged from mains or from a car socket . The handle has a precise manual IRIS diaphragm to set the lighting power by tilting the aperture lever. The holder has a bayonet socket for attaching accessories. Light painting at a longer distanse is made possible by using the projecting lens. The light beam will narrow slightly, but brightness is increased by approximately twu stops. This attachments is very useful for architecture photography, large sets, furniture, or wherever you need that extra”reach”.
LIGHT WANDS Photo 4
These popular attachments expand photographic lighting to new dimensions. Creating a continuos highlight on curved obiects has never been easier. A narrow band of diffused light is emitted from the wand, and by moving it around a subject, a softbox effect is produced.
Two sizes and available. The 17-inch (42cm) wand is rekomended for cars, computers, portraits, and wherever a broad soft light is needed. For general usage the 10-inch (25cm) size is invaluable.and is ideal bfor tabletop photography, especially when it’s desirable to light obiects independently.
LIGHT GUIDES Photo 5
You will find endless uses for these fiberoptic light guodes when lighting detailed areas and getting light around or inside objects. They efficiently transmit light from the inside fiberoptic cable tothe curved tip with a very bright output. When using light guides, you’ll appreciate thevariable brightness control feature of the LIGHTBRUSH. This adds extra flexibility for lighting anything from a large dark crevice, to a delicate string of pearls. Available in two sizes: 10 "(25cm) fiber diameter 6mm, and 3" (7cm) diameter 3mm. FLEX FIBER KIT. This 1mm diameter flexible fiber attaches to the 3mm light guide and is handy for lighting yiny subiects.
SOFT BRUSHES Photo 6
The SoftBrush attachments are used to create special lighting effects. Same very unique backgraunds can be created by wrapping a color gel around the SoftBrush and „painting color in the air”. You can simulate motion by quickly moving the SoftBrush from behind an object and leaving a trial of light. Two sizes, a 12 inch (30cm) and 7 inch (17cm) are available.
PAINTBRUSH Photo 8
This element consists of several dozen thin optical fibers shining at the end. Its shape-width can be formed through a movable ring on optical fibers. A small photo in the picture is a literal example of painting with this accessory :)

The Light Brush was in my hands from the day I bought my new device.
