First unit: OST-10
A3301 Optical Standards Test Controller
A3308 10Gb/s Optical Standards Tester
Some brief info:
The A3308 10 Gb/s Optical Standards Tester provides optical component and network equipment makers with a purpose-built, intelligent optical testing system that significantly reduces development and manufacturing costs while accelerating the time-to-market of networking solutions. Circadiant has consolidated the many test instruments needed for making layers 1, 2 and 3 tests for automated compliance testing to international or factory standards for a host of everyday tests, eliminating the need to rack and stack. In addition, this consolidated system embeds intelligence to quickly and accurately determine the root cause of failures, reducing troubleshooting time for both new products and field returns.
We don't have the power supply that was needed in order to power this unit up so it is untested.
Second unit:
A3318 850nm/Electrical OST Interface
This unit powers on and lights up, no error lights that we could tell.

Some brief info:
The A3318 850 nm/Electrical OST Interface operates
exclusively as a slave to the OST as shown in Figure 1.
A single mode fiber jumper from the output of the OST
carries an optical signal (possibly degraded) to an input
on the A3318. The A3318 re-broadcasts this analog
signal to a Device Under Test (DUT), perhaps with
additional degradations, either through a multi-mode
fiber at 850 nm or electrically through coaxial cable.
Similarly, an optical signal over multi-mode fiber, or an
electrical signal over coaxial cable, sent to the A3318
by a DUT is digitally re-broadcast to the OST via a single
mode fiber.
The A3318 works only with an OST and will not operate
in a stand-alone mode.
