SAN ANTONIO OAXACAN MEXICAN DRESS
This is a gorgeous rare find 1970s Mexican Oaxaca Royal blue dress, especially in contrast to the golden colored embroidery that covers the bodice and the sleeves.This dress has the signature row of embroidered "Little People" in multi color below the yoke, a trademark of the artisans from Oaxaca. Rich with color and history, this is a fabulous dress. Mexican Oaxacan Artisan Dress made in the 1960/1970s is a hard to find item because 100% cotton with cotton embroidery dresses are considered a True Treasure especially when they’re in excellent shape which automatically raises the price! I have to say the new dresses don’t hold a candle to these old timers!!!
This beautiful dress is is sure to turn heads. Beautifully embroidered details has variety of flowers and leaves throughout the dress.The crocheted lace trims are also around the collar and sleeves. This dress is a size large to extra . There are no rips, tears but there are a few slight white stains that look like dust that are not noticeable. I submitted pictures. Overall this dress is in excellent preowned condition and 100% medium weight cotton material!
This Beautiful Vintage Artisan dress has heavy hand stitched embroidery is and absolutely stunning. If you are true a collector of these beautiful dresses like I am and don’t have one in blue it is a must have! This dress can be worn all year long! Great Holiday dress even in blue.

Oaxaca dresses are becoming very difficult to find and also they can be very pricey! I try to price them conservatively and affordable as possible. What it really comes down to is: How much I can purchase them for and the authenticity and quality of the dress!!
These dresses are usually are not perfect because of their age!! Many have been stored away and passed down from generation to generation. If you want a perfect dress you should look for a newer dress that are made with different materials.
