Presented for your consideration is this beautiful antique doll. The doll has a bisque head with a composition body. She has very detailed facial features which include hazel stationary eyes, rosy cheeks, dimpled chin and parted lips to show front teeth. Head is completed with a red wig. The back of the head is marked with "Germany. Heinrich Handwerck. Simon & Halbig." The doll has a jointed body which is jointed at the hands, shoulders, elbows, hips and knees. Strings are tight and joints move easily. Just above the buttocks the body is marked with "Heinrich Handwerck 5 1/2." The doll wears a beautiful light pink dress with white lace trim, white knickers, pink pants and pink slip with white socks and black shoes. She also has yellow bead earrings in her ears. Unsure if the clothes are original to the doll or not. This gorgeous doll would make a great addition to any antique or vintage doll collection!
Some surface cracking is present on the body at the shoulders and down one leg. Some crazing/cracking of the painted finish is also present. Wig is loose. No cracks or chips in the head .Typical light wear from age and play. Overall in VERY GOOD-EXCELLENT condition. Please refer to the photos for the absolute best details.

Measures 30" tall, 7 1/4" wide at the shoulders and 4 3/4" from the tip of the nose to the back of the head.
