Antique German Bisque Doll With Open Mouth, Only Marked "Made in Germany"

Description

Offered for sale is a 26 inch German bisque doll on a fully jointed composition body. It has sleeping brown eyes and an open mouth with teeth and a separate tongue. The eyebrows are well painted with extra detail. It is dressed nicely in pale  pink cotton with a lot of tucks and lace insertion. The bonnet is bright pink taffeta with lace trim. It has new shoes and a new mohair wig. The body is marked Germany on the back of its hip.  The only mark on the back of its head is:
Made in Germany 136/11
The head is perfect with no damage nor no repairs. The body is also in very nice condition with its original paint and varnish, Only the hands have been repainted. It has a few chips near the joints and edges of feet and a stain on the chest. The underwear has rust stains but there is none on the dress.
Aside from soiled underwear this is a very nice German Doll.
