“Lettie Lane” type doll
Made in Germany. J.D. Kestner , Jr. is the maker.
Circa: late 1880’s - early 1900’s.
Ball- joint composition.
This was my husband’s Grandmother’s doll when she was very young.
We inherited her about 20 years ago.
Sadly, our daughters don’t have room for her.
We are downsizing and cleaning out the items we no longer need or use.
Time for someone else to enjoy this beautiful doll.
She has been sitting in this chair for longer than we’ve had her. FYI the rocking chair is NOT included in this auction. Interested in it? Message me.
I have included info from the info sheet we have from the Doll Museum that replaced her hair and appraised her.
Her dress and undergarments are hand made. Probably at the time of the appraisal.
I don’t know if the socks and shoes are original to her.
One of the socks have something pink on the bottom it.
One shoe is missing a button and on the other one the button is very loose.
Her clothes could use some cleaning.
Please look at the pictures carefully.
