Antique Armand Marseille “Floradora” Bisque Socket Head Doll on Kid Body 16”.
Stuffed Lower Legs
Left Shoulder and elbow repair (see photos)
Makers Mark on back of head: Floradora A. 5/0 M
Made in Germany
Front of Kid body states My sweet (probably longer word versus sweet, rubbed away and not legible)
I do believe Hat and Dress may be original to the doll. Her undergarments appear newer.
Original dress needs some cleaning (see photos), as well as a few areas of the doll.
She will come with the stand in pictures
She has four teeth that show, and her wig is tightly affixed.
Left bisque lower arm has crack ( see photos)
She does have glass eyes that will roll downward similar to sleep eyes when laying down, they rotate back to position once she is put back in upright.
Auction find, so I can’t speak to the condition of her home life, but she was among hundreds of other dolls that all appeared to be well cared for.
