ANTIQUE 28” CM BERGMANN SIMON & HALBIG BISQUE HEAD DOLL.. Her head has no damage. Her face is beautiful. Beautiful open and closing brown eyes. One tiny cheek scuff on right cheek. Very small. She wears cross earrings. They are not original to her. I have restrung her because I am a doll restorer. When I bought her she was loose and had a chip on one tooth. My friend at the Doll Hospital helped me fix that. All her clothing is antique. I made her dress from an old christening gown. I made it to fit her perfectly. The lace work and tufting are fabulous. The skirt comes off with two side by side snaps. The shirt comes off with a snap. She has an antique Lacey slip. Her socks and shoes are antique. Her hair is the prettiest color of auburn and is original to her head. Nice and thick with the original pate. I believe it is real human hair. There is an antique ribbon that ties her braid in the back. You could take this out and let her hair hand. All fingers are present. Original paint on the body. She’s large. 28”. Her body is good but remember she is over 100 years old. She will last another 100 years with someone who loves her. I can send more pics if you want. Ebay allows 12. She would look great in a child’s rocking chair. I do not accept returns on these dolls. I pack their heads and wrap well. I have never had a problem but do recommend insurance paid by buyer. Her chocolate brown eyes are huge and original. Only the chipped tooth was fixed.
