Antique 24" Curly Hair ~ ABG Bisque Parian Head Doll
This is a large antique unmarked 19th Century Parian doll. She is most likely a Kestner or ABG and has lovely facial features with single stroke brows, large blue eyes with a red line above the lid, very rosy cheeks with just a hint of rub to one side, sweet upturned mouth and a dimpled chin. Her deeply molded hair has no rubs and her ears are exposed. There are no chips, cracks or repairs to her head. She has a deep shoulder plate which measures 6 1/2" across and 6" tall. Her lower arms are bisque with one tiny nick to the fingernail tip on one finger. Body is vintage cloth stuffed and old but possibly not as old as the head. It is sturdy and clean.
This lovely doll comes dressed in her antique Scottish costume which consists of a plaid velvet skirt, fancy white long sleeve blouse with tucking and lacework, long cotton slip, cotton under shirt with tucking, pantaloons with lace trim, black velvet jacket, antique stockings and vintage red oilcloth shoes. She has no odors and is ready to display and to be enjoy. I will ship USPS Priority mail or UPS if it is less expensive.
