ANTIQUE 1930’S PLAID WOOL BELTED WINTER SKI JACKET
DATING TO THE 1930’S
FASHIONED OF A BEAUTIFUL BROWN AND BURNT ORNAGE PLAID WOOL AND LINED WITH A FLAT WOOL BROAD CLOTH ON THE INTERIOR WITH A COTTON SATEEN LINING THE INNER SLEEVES.
DOUBLE BREASTED AND BUTTONS IN THE FRONT WITH MATCHING BELTING AROUND WITH AN OVERSIZE BUCKLE CLOSURE.
CHEST POCKETS ARE ON EACH SIDE AND FLAT POCKETS ON EACH SIDE OF THE BOTTOM FRONT.
NO LABELS AS TO THE MAKER
CONDITION
:  SOLD AS IT WAS FOUND.  ONE OF THE BUTTONS IS MISSING FROM THE CHEST, AS PICTURED.  THERE ARE SOME SMALL SPOTS OF PAINT, AS PICTURED, ON THE FRONT SIDE.  I HAVE NOT MADE ANY ATTEMPT TO REMOVE.  PINHEAD MOTH NIPS IS ON THE REAR MIDDLE BACK AND THE INNER LINING HAS SEEN A LARGE JAGGED TEAR AND THE LINING COULD BE REMOVED AS ALL THE INNER SEAMS ARE FINISHED OR A NEAT MEND WOULD RESOLVE.
