1920’s Drop Waist Ceremonial Japanese Red Silk Japanese Maple Leaf and Floral Cherry Blossom Embroidered Formal Wedding Kimono Uchikake
This kimono features:
*Rich red silk material
*Full length
*Long, Draped traditional kimono sleeves
*Heavily embroidered
*Embroidered in some sections with golden bullion
*Embroidery features green Japanese maple leaves and cherry blossoms
*Subtle sweeps of color along the body of the kimono to look like mountains
*Drop waist
*Bottom of kimono is weighted
*Set of two hooks internally to hook in the waist line
*Lined in soft cream silk
*Has original paper tag on the inside

Hip: 34”-36” (taken at drop waist)
Length: 65”
Condition: Excellent. Some light pulls on the silk lining inside around the seams. There is a lighter spot on the back of the kimono towards the bottom I believe to be part of the coloring of the landscape on the back of the kimono however it may be fading, I am unsure if it is intentional or not. There is a small gathering of 4 small spots directly above the lighter spot and a small thin spot on the back towards the hem.

Items are packed and shipped carefully; I generally ship every 2-3 days depending on amount of incoming orders. I generally spend Sunday’s packaging items purchased Thursday-Sunday. As a seller, I generally use reused packaging materials, so your boxes and inner packaging material may be a little rough around the edges. This is done to keep the cost down for both buyer and seller as well as reducing waste in the landfills.
Items are carefully described; see photos also for condition.  Flaws will be noted either in pictures or description; occasionally listed on both.
The items I sell are antique or vintage, generally between 30 years to 150 years old. Vintage and antique items will have wear, no different than a person between the ages of 30 and 100 years old. Vintage items are generally not perfect and may have small imperfections from their previous lives. We strive to provide the most accurate listings possible, however we are all humans and some flaws may be missed. Everything is stored in a smoke-free environment. My home does have many pets including cats and dogs.
All sales are FINAL, and all items are sold AS IS, so please ask any questions during the sale or auction. Adjustments, refunds, partial refunds or returns are not offered.
Props, such as hat forms, jewelry, crinolines, petticoats, mannequins, backgrounds, or items used to show size/scale, are not included in the sale. If it is not specifically mentioned in the listing as being included, it is not included in the sale. We often use petticoats and pinning to show the fullness or appearance of the item.
Measurements and Sizing: Specific measurements are given for each item. We provide basic sizing (small, medium, large, etc. and generic shoe sizing) off of a sizing chart to provide a general idea of sizing for each item however this is not meant to determine an exact sizing for each garment. Please go by specific measurements to determine whether or not the item will fit you as we do not accept returns due to an item not fitting. This applies to all items sold.
Payment is due two days after sale end.
